Well, that was an absolute blast!
It was fantastic for CDW to return after a two-year hiatus! The buzz did seem to be dialled up this year - particularly when the sun was out.
Launching eight products at the show, with fresh designs in the showrooms of Workstories and Connection, the stage was set for an epic week for the Jones & Partners Studio.
Our CDW kicked off on the first morning with the Studio receiving the Design Guild Mark for SWELL, an acoustic panel that was launched last year by The Collective.
To our great surprise and delight, the design was also awarded a prestigious Jonathan Hindle award for outstanding design in the 2D sector.
The additional award was a great boost to the team and one that carried us through a very busy week of meetings, dinners, and tours with clients, prospects, and partners.
On the final day, Craig was invited by Workstories to give a talk on the Evolution of Workplace Furniture. Addressing the impact of recent changes to culture, behaviours, environments and how these effect our collective engagement with furniture and products, the talk opened various conversations that led to insightful discussions.
A big thank you to everyone involved and a special shout-out to Workstories for their closing party. A fitting end to a memorable return for Clerkenwell Design Week 2022.
